May 11, 2005: 28 Today:

Turned 28 at about 10:00 this morning. My grandmother phoned me at breakfast to wish me a happy birthday and asked how old I was. I told her and she said "Thats young." However it sounds old to me. How did I suddenly get to 28 when I was only 18 not very long ago. That last 10 years just dissapeared in a blink. I have a theory about this actually. When a person is young, time seems to pass slowly because compared to the amount of time they have lived, a day is a much larger unit of time. However, the older a person gets, and the longer they have lived, a day becomes a smaller unit of time in comparison and so time simply seems to fly past.................its a theory anyway.
