What happens if you need to speak to someone and you know they might not want to take your call if they knew it was you... you need to call anonymously and block your caller ID. Here is how you do it.

To make a private call in Australia, dial 1831 before you dial the number. For example, if you were going to dial (07)12341234 for a Queensland local number, you would dial 183112341234 if you are inside Queensland. If you are outside Queensland and you need to include the area code, you would dial 18310712341234.

Recently I have been developing a SMS application for a customer in Rockhampton and have spent significant time researching SMS Gateways for my customer in attempting to select the most appropriate one for his application.  Many great SMS Gateways don’t suitably work in Australia, which is dissapointing.  We have ended up selecting Tropo – www.tropo.com

This week I was building a website for a church where they wanted the last tweet from the minister to appear on the home page.  It sounds like the kind of thing that everyone does and rather than reinvent the wheel I thought I’d google for a little script.  I found a lot of sites with scripts but they mostly boiled down to the same 3 or 4 scripts – and none of them worked.

Before we get going with this article let me define what I’m talking about.  Evangelism is sharing information about God and Church designed to change a persons opinions and beliefs.  Squeeze Pages are web pages which have few or no links to anywhere else designed to bring a person to a certain action, usually joining a mailing list or getting someone’s email address.  It’s called a squeeze page because it tries to squeeze someone into a certain place – or make someone do something.

Today a customer of mine was looking to find a merchant for his website and we wanted to find one that already a payment gateway module for Ubercart inside of Drupal 6.  As I googled I was surprised not to see such a list already compiled. 

So here is just an initial list I have drawn from tonights research, if you know of other modules that I’m not aware of, please add to this list, or add in a comment so that other people can benefit from this.

Iconic people stand out in history against the backdrop of their time; people like Winston Churchill.  Winston was a member of Parliment in England – the House of Commons and became Prime Minister during World War II.  He is remembered for great speeches stirring the people of the Commonwealth to action and inspiring hope.  It is no wonder he is a hero and highly considered by many people.

However if you take away Winston the Politician and Winston the Statesman, and if you take away Winston the Orator, what is left.
