May 27, 2005, 1:45pm: Schapelle Corby - 20 years in Jail:

I sat with some good friends and watched the verdict in the trial case of Schapelle Corby today live on national Australian television from Indonesia. It was an emotional time because we all feel that she is innocent and its hard to know exactly who and what to believe. In the end, only God knows the full truth about the situation. The fact that Schapelle became a believer only a few weeks ago makes her a sister of ours in Christ Jesus and it certainly seems that having God in her life has helped her to find inner strength. And God will obviously grow and become a bigger part of her life as she now spends 20 years serving out her sentence. I have written an article on this because I saw that there are some similarities between Schapelle and Jesus because both were innocent and yet were tried, found guilty and suffered. Its worth a read.
