June 8, 2005: Sons Retreat Day Two:

As I sit here writing looking out the window at the beautiful view of Keppel Bay, I can't help but feeling how wonderful God is. I wish I could show you.....perhaps tomorrow. Anyway, here is a picture I took earlier today of the beautiful Rosslyn Bay Inn. Its a lovely place to stay, and also reasonably priced, but in fact the best aspect of all is the beautiful thing that God is doing in our hearts here. We have been sharing our lives with one another and have come to see that the love growing between us is the best thing of all. In many churches the people are having a competition to see who is the best Christian or who knows the most, but when the competition is gone between believers, the real love and trust can begin. That's certainly where we are at the moment......its wonderful.
