On Friday 16 April I visited the Rockhampton Mosque.  It doesn’t have minarets and some of the fancy features of Mosques in Islamic countries like Pakistan and the like, but the word Masjid means place of worship in Arabic, so it's still a mosque. 

Many parts of the world are experiencing terrible food shortages. In fact about 1 billion people in this world live on less than $1 per day. There is good information about this, and similar statistics on Wikipedia.

If you gave up $1 a day, you could feed a whole family with that.
